Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art: Inner Sanctum
Curated by UNSW Galleries director José Da Silva, the 18th Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art, titled Inner Sanctum, brings together 24 artists and poets including Clara Adolphs, Christopher Bassi, Lawrence English, Kate Llewellyn AM × Adelaide Chamber Singers, Khaled Sabsabi, Marikit Santiago and Vivienne Shark LeWitt. Exploring the ways people engage with the world and each other through the lens of private and sacred spaces, the Biennial unravels the complexities of humanity’s imaginative capabilities across exhibitions, performances and talks that are both reflective of and hopeful for contemporary Australia. Presented in association with Adelaide Festival, Inner Sanctum continues until June 2, 2024.
