Candice Lin, The Sex Life of Stone

The first Australian solo exhibition of work by Los Angeles-based artist Candice Lin, The Sex Life of Stone brings together new and recent works showcasing an ongoing investigation into the interstices of climate change, colonial legacies, power politics of the body and the relationship between the human and natural worlds. Including previous installation works such as Seeping, Rotting, Resting, Weeping (2021) – the starting point for Lin’s piece in the 2022 Venice Biennale Milk of Dreams – the exhibition also presents a new installation co-commissioned with the 24th Biennale of Sydney this year. The Sex Life of Stone continues until September 7, 2024.
