Sydney Contemporary
Sydney Contemporary returns to Carriageworks in September 2024 under new Fair Director Zoe Paulsen. Welcoming both collectors and the wider art-loving public, the fair will once again bring together tens of Australasia’s premiere commercial galleries, including 14 Sydney Contemporary debuts, with overseas participants in a strong showcase of collectible contemporary art alongside a rich program of activities. Installation Contemporary, dedicated to largescale artworks, will be curated by Artspace’s Talia Linz this year, while Samantha Watson-Wood is putting together Performance Contemporary. Talk Contemporary has two strands in 2024, one about architecture and design and the other on art, curated by Stephen Todd and Michael Do respectively. Younger visitors will be treated with the popular Kid Contemporary, the FUTURE sector and the PAPER mini-fair return. Sydney Contemporary runs from September 5 – 8, 2024.
