11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art
The Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art returns to QAGOMA in 2024 for its 11th iteration. Bringing together 70 artists, collectives and projects from over 30 countries across the region, the Triennial celebrates cultural diversity and traditions of storytelling. With a focus on care for natural and urban environments, intergenerational experiences of migration and labour, First Nations and diaspora cultures, and community- driven artmaking, the Triennial includes many artists who have not previously exhibited in Australia. Accompanied by research partnerships, live performances, public discussions, cinema sessions and community engagement activities, the 11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art runs from November 30, 2024 to April 27, 2025.
