The global tour of Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery, created by Vivienne Westwood Limited and produced by Nomad Exhibitions, begins in Wellington at Te Papa Tongarewa. This expansive retrospective showcases key jewellery pieces from the late designer and her brand, beginning with her Portobello Road market stall in the 1970s through to statement pieces featured in high-fashion catwalks. Organised into rooms themed by decades, the show pairs jewellery pieces with feature garments and accessories, evoking Westwood’s iconic style. Throughlines of feminism, sustainability and punk honour the legacy of the visionary and activist, who remains a symbol of British avant-garde fashion. Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery runs from December 13, 2024 to April 27, 2025.
