New Exuberance: Contemporary Australian Textile Design
The major Jam Factory touring exhibition New Exuberance next stops at the Australian Design Centre. The show recognises the flourishing role of textile practice in art, design and fashion in Australia today, bringing together 30 creatives and 10 commissioned furniture pieces to elucidate the boundary-blurring and cross-pollination the practice engenders. New Exuberance emphasises the dynamism and energy of these practices, manifesting in collaborations in the fashion industry, increased visibility for First Nations practitioners, and more. Featuring Grace Lillian Lee, Ikuntji Artists, Iordanes Spyridon Gogos, Kate Just, Romance Was Born and others, New Exuberance is open from 10 July to 16, August 2025.
