Floribunda
With its title referring to the Latin for ‘many-flowering’, Floribunda is a collaborative exhibition with the National Gallery of Victoria hosted at Bunjil Place. Drawing on the NGV’s collection, Floribunda highlights floral imagery, design and motif through a ‘Wunderkammer’ display of decorative arts, fashion and textiles, painting, and First Nations Australia and Pacific Art, spanning multiple histories, cultures and art forms. Revealing the breadth of the flower’s influence on art and design as a symbol of beauty and nature as a whole, Floribunda runs until July 20, 2025.
