ROSALIE GASCOIGNE: SKY, EARTH, WATER
Bundanon presents Rosalie Gascoigne: Sky, Earth, Water, a major exhibition celebrating the work of one of Australia’s most acclaimed artists alongside new site-responsive commissions by First Nations women artists Lorraine Connelly-Northey, Janet Fieldhouse, and Glenda Nicholls. The exhibition brings together over 20 key works by Gascoigne, drawn from major institutions including the Art Gallery of New South Wales, National Gallery of Australia, and Heide Museum of Modern Art, highlighting her poetic assemblages of weathered, found materials that capture the textures, light, and spirit of rural Australia. Bundanon’s unique Shoalhaven River setting amplifies the resonance of Gascoigne’s work, while the new commissions respond to Country, embedding cultural stories and materials in contemporary practice. Together, these presentations create a dialogue across generations and perspectives, reflecting on landscape, memory, and materiality. The exhibition will be on display from March 7 to June 14, 2026.
