Unleashed+
Presented by artisan in partnership with HOTA, UNLEASHED+ marks a new chapter for Queensland’s leading platform for emerging contemporary craft and design. For more than 2 decades, the biennial has launched the careers of makers whose practices have gone on to national and international recognition. This expanded edition brings together 12 emerging artists working across jewellery, ceramics, lighting, furniture and object design, alongside presentations by artisan’s 2025–26 Residency alumni. Spanning wearable works through to architectural-scale pieces, the exhibition highlights the breadth and innovation of contemporary craft practice in Queensland while reaffirming artisan’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of designers and makers. UNLEASHED+ is on view at HOTA until November 8.
