On a warm sunny Saturday in Brisbane, we gathered at our partner gallery, the Institute of Modern Art in Brisbane, to celebrate the launch of Issue 44 again! We enjoyed pastries from local favourite Sprout Artisan Bakery, refreshments and an insightful conversation between VAULT Editor-in-Chief Alison Kubler, and long-time VAULT contributor and IMA Director Robert Leonard.
Robert and Alison spoke about how an issue comes together, what ‘The Future’ means in this issue as well as what it looks like for an independent print cultural publication like VAULT, the importance of looking to the past and many other topics!
